I was doing a little spring cleaning in the office today and came across some disk images that I have put together for testing and analysis. Please feel free to download the images to share with others and further hone your examination skills.
Click on the title to download each of the 4 disk images with different file systems and/or operating systems.
- NTFS – Windows XP: winxpntfs.zip
- HFS+ – Mac OSX 10.4: machfsplus.zip
- FAT32 – a USB Drive: usbfat32.zip (Bonus points if you can figure out the OS it was created on!!)
- EX4 – external NAS array: ext4nasraidarray.zip (Sorry EnCase users)
